"To myself I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me." -Sir Isaac Newton

Recently I have become fascinated by seascapes and the transition of space between Earth and Water. For me the shoreline represents a place of extreme danger but also the beginning of voyages and birth. The ocean is a place of immense scale that makes you acutely aware of your own diminutive size. Here a robot is encountering the ocean for the first time, attempting to comprehend what it holds in its hand and what it understands may be awaiting discovery.
